In this tutorial, I am going to be showing you how to add an item to an existing picklist.
To start, we have this picklist assigned to the text1 field in the Collection Object table:
I want to add Purple to this list.
Step 1: Navigate to the User Tools menu in the navigation bar.
Step 2: Click on Schema Config.
Step 3: Choose your Schema Language.
Step 4: Select the base table that contains the field with your picklist.
Step 5: Choose the field with the picklist you would like to add an item to. Now click on the icon to the right of your pick list in the bottom right.
Step 6: Increase the size limit so that the picklist can contain your newly added items.
Step 7: Click on the green + button to the right of the Pick List Items text. Now you can input your picklist item’s title and value.
Now you are done!
