One of our end users opined:
Current ability to export data from Specify seems to be limited to the fields given in a query. There should be the ability to export all data from all fields for records found by a query within a given collection, without having to build a query that includes every single field. This is a major hindrance for our work.

Hi Fedor,
I wanted to let you know that I’ve drafted and submitted the GitHub feature request regarding the Specify data export functionality.
You can view the request directly on GitHub here:

**Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.**
Currently, S… pecify's data export functionality is limited to the fields explicitly included in a user's query. This means that to export all data for a set of records, users are required to manually build a query that includes every single field from the relevant tables. This is a significant hindrance for work, as it is time-consuming, prone to error (missing fields), and impractical for collections with a large number of fields.
**Describe the solution you'd like**
Would like to request the ability to export all data from all fields for records found by a query within a given collection, without having to manually select each field in the query builder.
**Describe alternatives you've considered**
The only current alternative is the manual selection of every field in the query builder, which, as described above, is impractical and inefficient.

**Additional context**
It would save significant time and effort for users who need to work with complete datasets and reduce the risk of incomplete data exports.
Please let us know if there are any further feedback or queries.
Thank you,
