Current ability to export data from Specify seems to be limited to the fields given in a query. There should be the ability to export all data from all fields for records found by a query within a given collection, without having to build a query that includes every single field. This is a major hindrance for our work.
I think it is pretty much impossible to decide globally what is a complete record or what fields should be in a complete-record query. It seems to me the better approach would be to maintain such queries for individual collections/institutions and share those queries with users of those collections/institutions.
