We have not had reports of this behavior after updating to Specify 6.8.01 in the past. If you don’t mind, could you send us a copy of your database to take a look at?
We have instructions here to upload it! If it is larger than 100MB, you can upload it to a file sharing service and send us the link at support@specifysoftware.org. I’m sorry to here that you are having trouble with loans and interactions!
If you are using Specify 7 alongside Specify 6, have you had any trouble there?
