We have been using Batch Editing to facilitate this, but it can be arduous. We desire the ability to query a series of localities, make selections, and click a “Merge” button, which brings up a dialog allowing the selection or entry of the locality name.
This would be really useful for us as well. In a closely related function, we also need a utility to “de-duplify” duplicate entries for a single locality name by merging to one version and deleting versions that is no longer associated to any Collection Objects.
