As mentioned in the following post: Clarification on Date precission fields and their use, it would be necessary if the calendar date fields in the Accession form had the active date selector, fields like date of accession or date of reception. Like many museums, we have historical collections with incomplete dates for some specimens.
Seconding this request. Ohio State has a lot of accessions with incomplete dates (either just the year, or the month and year only.)
Allowing date precision fields would be very helpful.
Also in support of this feature! Our Accession manager has expressed the need for date precision, because many accessions go way back and have uncertain dates so just year or month would be required.
Dear Specify users, is there anything new on this topic? At MfN Berlin, we would also be happy to have the opportunity to add incomplete dates to the “Date accessioned” field (and possibly even to the “Date received” field).
