It would be nice if we could upload a record with latitude and longitude and have Specify automatically assign or suggest a country, state, county based on the geocoordinates - I came across this service which might be able to do this. It would be useful for offshore records that are difficult to determine if they fall within a political boundary or are in international waters.

+1 for this request. I have wanted a feature like this in collections software for a long time. The ability to add province and county information would be even more valuable.
It would make personal collecting much easier as well!
(e.g. Only needing to personally take a GPS point and a simple locality description in the field, rather than finding all of the political boundaries yourself.)
