The Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) is a standardized document used to evaluate how well information and communication technology products meet established accessibility criteria. It helps institutions understand a product’s level of conformance with recognized accessibility standards.
The VPAT provided below assesses Specify using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and the Revised Section 508 standards of the United States Rehabilitation Act. Section 508 requires U.S. federal agencies, and any organizations working with them, to ensure their digital products meet WCAG criteria.
Based on this evaluation, the Specify Collections Consortium meets WCAG 2.1 AA criteria.
