The title of the format you created is the one that was created in Specify, either in Specify 6 using the field format editor or via manual edits to the UIFormatters app resource in Specify 7.
For example, you would enter CatalogNumberNumeric in the CatalogFormatNumName column if that is the format you want to assign to that field in the collection. Only the name of a field format that can be selected from the schema configuration should be entered in this field.
