Hi everyone, I wanted to share an issue I encountered and the solution provided by Grant, which might be helpful for other SP-7 users.
Issue: I was unable to access the “SP Audit Log” table in the SP-7 query builder, even though my auditing configuration was set to true in my Remote Preferences.
In the schema configuration, the “Hide Table” option was unchecked for the “spauditlog” table, and I had unhidden all the table fields to ensure they would appear. However, the audit table still did not show up in the “Selected tables” and “Possible Tables” lists in the query builder.
Grant’s Solution: Currently, the Audit Log table cannot be accessed from the query list, regardless of whether it is hidden in the schema or if your user has access to it. To access it, you need to navigate directly to the URL (https://sp7demofish.specifycloud.org/specify/query/new/spauditlog/) instead of using the query list. This is due to an earlier update that hid all system tables, which has now been adjusted. This workaround will be necessary until the next Specify 7 update is released.
