User Groups Definition

What is the difference between Limited Access and Full Access user groups?
Thank you!

Hi @Amelie,

Thanks for highlighting this issue in the Specify 6 documentation!

Limited Access users don’t have the ability to add, modify, or delete Interaction data tables, or do any application customization, and only have permission to work in common tables.

‘Limited Access’ provides partial privileges for viewing, editing, and deleting items across many tables, while ‘Full Access’ typically grants full privileges except in the cases of administrator actions like backup and restore, batch editing, collection relationships, etc.

To see the full list of enabled actions, you will want to explore our webinar or by viewing the permissions in the database directly by opening the Security Tools system in Specify 6.
