Limited Access users get "Page Not Found" upon data entry

Using Specify 7.5.0, we created a simplified Data Entry form for collection objects to be used by a group of volunteers, we wanted to add to the “Limited Access” user group.

However, when logged in as such a user, we cannot seem to access the collection object data entry form, as it gives a “Page Not Found”. There are no error logged on the server and tracking http requests also shows no 404 replies to any of the calls by the page.

What gives?

In Specify 7.6.1, Limited access users and Guests don’t have write access. They can only read data and use the query builder.
That will be fixed in Specify 7.7 with the introduction of a highly customizable permission system.
