Combine APG IV classification within the classic Taxon tree

For our Botanic garden collection, I’m looking for a way to maintain a single Taxon tree for the two classification approaches - the classic and the Clade-based APG IV.

The solution that I choose has three points:

  • Label the taxonomic ranks like this: Kingdom, SubKingdom/Clade, Division/Clade, SubDivision/Clade, SuperClass/Clade, Class/Clade, order, etc.
  • When Clade is used, to add “(cl.)” to the name.
  • Where the two formats exist, to make the Class and the (lowest-level) clade synonyms.

Does anyone have a better solution?

Thanks,
Eitan

Just use the APG IV classification:
