We would like for the genus to appear at the top of the list when using the Query combo box, as currently it appears alphabetically based on the author of the Genus.
It is often very difficult to find the genus to add it to a determination, as the user must know who the author of a genus is. Whilst the search function can be used instead, it is often more practical and convenient to use the dropdown.
We have found this to be particularly difficult when working with a large genus e.g. Rhododendron, where the dropdown stops mid-way through species beginning with b.
