Issues in uploading lots using Collection Object Groups ("taskinfo": "RelatedObjectDoesNotExist('Collectionobjectgroupjoin has no parentcog.')")

Hello,

While experimenting with Collection Object Groups (due to an interest in using them for LOTs, SAMples and the like), we tried a Workbench test, attempting to upload some test Collection Objects and the groups they are grouped under. However, when hitting “Validate”, we are met with the following error:

Error occurred during Validation

{
  "uploaderstatus": {
    "operation": "validating",
    "taskid": "344ec1c4-668e-4d0a-813c-60564bab439e"
  },
  "taskstatus": "FAILURE",
  "taskinfo": "RelatedObjectDoesNotExist('Collectionobjectgroupjoin has no parentcog.')"
}

I am posting a screenshot from the test, alongside with the Upload Plan .json file. At first we tried with two layers of grouping (LOT and SAMples) and the validation error appeared. Then we deactivated one of them (SAMple) and repeated the validation with only one level of grouping (LOT), because we thought that it may have tried to create the second level and the first was missing. However, we recieved the same validation error.

Please check the data and advice if there is a way to archieve the upload with at least one level of grouping, or hopefully two.

Hi @MFKouk,

I am not able to recreate this issue on the latest version of Specify (v7.12.0.6). Are you running the latest version? Can you send the source spreadsheet as well or a copy of your database so I can try that as well?

Sorry for the trouble!
