Dear Specify users,
When I export data from Specify 7, once it is opened in a spreadsheet, it is no longer sorted in the preselected order. I tried to see if by default it was sorted by creation date, modification date or cataloged date, but that does not seem to be the case.
How can I preserve the order in which I want the data to appear in the final table?

Thanks for your question! Currently, exported CSVs cannot preserve the ordering set in the query itself. We have a GitHub request tracking this capability:
