I think you have a typo in the uitype: dsptextfield

Thank you for your question!
You cannot go from a one-to-many relationship field (determinations) to a particular field value (taxon) since Specify cannot determine which determination to display information for.
Fortunately, you can use the field name currentDetermination.taxon, as there is a special virtual field that can be displayed on forms! This displays information from the current determination linked to the record.
