Automatic conversion of UTM's to decimal degrees or vice versa

I think there needs to be an option that takes UTM or other coordinate system data and converts it into another coordinate format, like decimal degrees. Currently, UTM’s are just an additional number field, therefore the location is not mapped like the latitude and longitude are.
