Password Change in Security & Accounts
This method of password updating may be used when other Specify User details need edits, or if the password change is being done for a user other than the one currently logged in.
- Open the User Tools menu by selecting the
icon by your username in the Navigation Bar
- From here, select Security and Accounts
Once in Security and Accounts, go to the Institution page to see a list of all user accounts defined for your institution.
Note:
Password changes are the same regardless of which level you’re working through in Security and Accounts, so these changes can also be made by going through Collections.
- Click the username in need of a password change.
- Below the Account Setup Options heading, click Change Password
You will be prompted to reset the user password with the following dialog.
- Fill out the required information on this screen, then click Apply to save and close the dialog.
- You will also need to click Save in the bottom right commit the changes in Security & Accounts.
Once saved, the user will be able to log in with their new password.
