Edit Prep Types
This doc will explain how to create, update, and remove entries in the Preparation Type table.
First, navigate to the User Tools menu, then go to App Resources, then click on the Schema Config and choose a language.
Once in the schema config you will scroll down and click on the ‘preparation’ table. Once in the preparation table you will scroll down in the fields to ‘PrepType’ which is under the Relationships section.
On the bottom right under field format you will see the picklist checked with ‘PrepType’ and you will press the 
next to it which will open up this dialog:
Deleting a Prep Type
If you want to delete a specific prep type you will use the 
and 
arrows to find the preparation you want and then click on 
. That will take you to the specific dialog for that Prep Type. If there are no records linked to it you will be able to delete it but if there are records with that Prep Type you will have to delete those records before you can delete it.
You can also just change the name if you want to keep that preparation type but under a different name.
Adding a Prep Type
You can add a prep type by clicking on the link out () icon on the Pick List Items section under the Preparation Type pick list.
You can modify the chosen prep type directly from the form or you can click ‘Add’ to create a new one.
If you create a new prep type, you can give it a name and decide if it should be loanable. Once you click ‘Save’, you can begin using it in new preparations.
