I have configured Single Sign-On (SSO) for my system via Azure EntraID. At present, I need create an account for a user in advance Specify to associated the local account with SSO login.
Is there a way to set a user to a default role when they login via SSO?
User roles and permissions are not linked to the SSO system. Roles cannot be automatically assigned when a user logs in using a specific authentication method.
Are you looking for a way to automatically create a user and assign them a role when they log in to Specify via SSO for the first time? At present, there is no mechanism to do this and users must be created before an SSO invite link can be generated.
