I only really realized the need for this recently, but it would speed things up quite a lot if one could drag multiple attachments into a record at once. Having to drag only one at a time and make a new attachment record for each file is really cumbersome.
The bulk uploader is great for larger uploads, but sometimes you just have one record you’re working on in forms and you want to attach many files to it with only a few clicks.
The drag and drop tool should automatically recognize when you try to upload more than one file, and make the attachment records to go with it.
IMO, this would go along with many of the changes to attachments discussed in the Open Discussion on Associated Media Management in Specify 7.
