Import a Report / Label

This guide will teach you how to import a report or label after you have received the report definition (JRXML) and query definition (JSON). If you do not have either of these files, please read this guide for more information!

Importing a Report or Label

1. Import the query file (JSON) you want the report/label to be based on.

  • Select :queries_: Queries from the navigation bar.
  • Select New in the bottom right.
  • Select Import in the bottom left.
  • Choose or drag file to prompted area.
  • Once the file is added, the query will open automatically and does not need saved.

2. Create a report/label based on the query.

  • Click on the pencil icon next to the query name.
  • Select the appropriate option for your purposes, either define report based on query or define label based on query.
  • Enter a name for the report/label.
  • Select Create.
  • This will automatically open the new report/label in App Resources, however, it is not saved.

3. Load the JXMRL file (obtained in Step 3 of the Export a Report/Label guide).

  • From the report/label app resource, click Load File in the top right corner.
  • Choose or drag file to the prompted area.
  • Save.
