Seeing taxonomic authors in the taxon tree viewer allows users to quickly identify which authority is associated with each node. Knowing the taxonomic authors allows users to compare different taxon nodes and helps to ensure the accuracy of the tree.
To enable displaying the author in the Taxon tree, you can add the following line to your Remote Preferences file in the App Resources viewer:
TaxonTreeEditor.DisplayAuthor=TRUE
After clearing your cache and logging out and back in again, you will see the author presented after the taxon name after a space character!
